Introduction
I'm not going to lie, this project was super stressful because the last thing I want to do is think about college and the future. Except I was surprised that it was actually pretty fun. When I grow up I hope to be some kind of artist, and right now i've been looking into studio art as a possible career. I used to want to animation over everything else, but I was worried about being trapped in a room drawing the same arm movement for two months for example. My internship mentor, who does studio art, told me about the perks of her job and I instantly changed my mind. I hope to do studio art because I can work in my own time, and be as creative as I want all the time. Work doesn't have to be super tedious which would be wonderful. Although, I would still like to learn how to animate so I can make little animations, or a cartoon of sorts on the side, more as a hobby then a job.
When looking at colleges, at first I looked at schools that were primarily art schools. Soon later, I was informed that art schools along with their super high costs, like to keep you around for as long as possible to keep you paying them money. Also, if I went to a strictly art based school I wouldn't get to do other classes like writing or music. Thats when I started looking at schools that had good art programs while also having other subjects to study as well. My favorite college i've found so far is Lewis and Clark college. It's not too big, it has a beautiful library (I love to read and library are one of my favorite places), its surrounded by trees and forests, and its in Oregon. I very much hope to live in Oregon someday so it would be nice to go to college there. Another plus is that its very close to where my grandparents live, so ill still have family around for support.

How do we learn and how can we use that information to choose a successful path in education?
We learn by experience. By what we see most often in the world (maybe even outside of this world), or by observing what we find the most interesting. We all learn differently because we all see the world differently. In other words, different things make since to different people.
We use the information we gather as kids to choose a successful path in our education based off what we want to learn. From the information we have, we can prove that we are dedicated to learn more about things we already are aware of. Or, we can use the information we have to decide what is most valuable to learn for ourselves. Something we are interested in but don't already know.
For example, I enjoy art and anything fantasy based. Growing up i've practiced drawing and painting as often as humanly possible, and when I had the time i'd read fictional, adventurous books. With all I know about those things I know I want my education to be art based with maybe something extra about writing or storytelling.
To be successful, is to be happy. For some people thats having a lot of money, for other people thats being with family. For me, thats creating something magical I can leave behind in this world after before I die. Im hoping I can find an art school that will allow me to do just that.

Interview
During the summer of 2017 I got to go on a private tour of PNCA with my grandpa when I was visiting my grandparents in Oregon (We have someone in the family who works at PNCA). While we were there I talked to a few people (I don't quite remember names so I wont put too many of them), and I found out some super cool things about the school. My favorite, was when the women who was showing us around, Mis Condit, told us about how they get to use and test out new digital art programs. She showed us the rooms filled with art tablets and computers and such. It was also super cool when we got to see all the different printers they had, and the students at the school could use them almost whenever they needed. They were incredibly nice printers and the digital art came out super clear, and things could be printed on large posters and papers. PNCA would be nice to go to because of all the resources available to use.
