Do you think you got an Excellent, good or poor grade?
I think I got somewhere between "good" and "poor," as I ended up knowing a lot less stuff than I originally thought I would. I believe this from the fact that I couldn't answer at least half of the questions on the test. I think the issue, is when were learning Spanish, or doing the videos, I memorize the words, but I forget to memorize what the words actually mean.
WHat felt good?
Surprisingly, conjugating the words was easiest for me (assuming I was doing it correctly) even though I didn't know what the words I was conjugating actually meant, I believe I knew how to correctly conjugate at least most of it. I also think I understood some of the conversational phrases, but I haven't looked at those in a while, so in the back of my memory, their all jumbled up and mixed around.
Areas for growth
I guess I just need to learn more words/ definitions of words as that was the main struggle for me. When taking the test, all the words looked familiar, I just didn't understand what a lot of them meant. This sucks, as when stating the obvious, a large part of learning a language, is knowing what things mean.
How much time outside class do you work on spanish?
Mostly just when we are working on our videos and I need to memorize a script for it. Only besides that, and times were given homework, I definitely don't practice enough, as I have seen from taking the test.
Any new study habits?
Im unsure, as I still haven't found a way to practice and study words and phrases that works for me yet. We don't have a lot of reasons to study for things at this school, so I haven't developed any natural ways to study that work for the way I obtain information.
