Exponent rules:
The day we went over Exponents I understood it enough to get the work done for that day, but than when we started to use Exponents for other things, I completely forgot everything previously learned about it. Apparently I have trouble connecting different concepts of math together. Because of this, I had to take a few hours to re-learn Exponents on my own which I did using Khan Academy. Now I understand it, and all the other math we've been doing makes complete sense now. Another good thing about this is that I finally found a way to study math that works, which should make the rest of the year much easier.

Exponential growth and decay models
I was surprised that I understood right away how the equations for Exponential growth and Decay worked. This is because we had to use percentages, and I didn’t understand percentages until this year so it's still kinds of a blurry math concept for me. To completely understand these problems I needed to just practice these kinds of problems a lot to try to memorize the equation properly. I still struggle on the last step to these problems, but I've almost got the hang of it.

forms of exponential equations
When we first started to do these problems I somehow didn’t notice that we had moved onto something different from Exponential Growth and Decay. That meant for the first day we did this I accidentally used the equation from the previous section on all the problems we did. When I eventually figured out I was doing it wrong, and understood which notes were for what kind of problem, I had to re-teach the new equation to myself.
