Week 1:
Week 2:
Week 3:
Here are a bunch of pictures of the pour painting things we worked on last week.
The green one on the left is the final pour painting I did, and aside from being larger in size, it's a lot different then the other ones. My mentor, miss Yvette is an art therapist so for our final pour paintings we did an activity for art therapy where we write a bunch of positive affirmations on the canvas before we paint on it. In other words, on each of our own canvas we wrote a bunch of things we liked or liked about ourselves. It was super fun. |
Week 4:
Here's a picture of more of the studio and you can see the projector we are using. What I mean by projector art, is were taking a bunch of pictures of what we want to paint (for me, i'm drawing a marionette hanging upside down) and so that we don't have to spend hours sketching out our pictures, we're projecting reference pictures onto our papers to trace over. | I don't have a lot of pictures of what we're doing this week because we just started this weeks project today, but in this picture you can see me trying to figure out how arms work when a person is hanging upside down. I'm projecting and tracing pictures of a marionette that i'm going to change and paint later, but the picture i'm using has no arms so this is what we did to see how arms worked haha. | This is the most comfortable chair in the studio. I need one because it is truly amazing. |
